The Miracle League of Manasota, the baseball league for players with special needs, closed its fall season Nov. 15 with ballgames, awards and a party — along with a $10,000 donation by the Orioles honoring retired Major League player Derek Jeter. The ceremony was held at the specially designed ball field at Longwood Run Park, 6050 Longwood Run Blvd., Sarasota.
